This will be my review of the new color tattoo shadows by Mabelline. I was playing around with a few of them tonight and tried a few different looks. Let me just say I LOVE THEM!!! I'm a person who hardly ever wears makeup unless it's a special event or occasion. BUT! When I do wear makeup I always pay special attention to my eyes and LOVE bold, bright colors. Go big or go home! Most eye shadows you try leave a very light layer and you have to cake it on over a primer to get the kind of effect you want and sometimes you still don't get it. These shadows are such a drugstore solution to the color pop solution (without having to spend M.A.C. or Sephora type dolla's).

This picture doesn't even do it justice. It is VERY Vibrant!
This color is called "Tenacious Teal." 6 thumbs up! |
So I'm sure you've seen the commercial for this wear it's like insanely bright over the top and if you were like me you said "Nah-uh. You know darn well this look was done on top of an already bold shadow, primer and by a professional." Kind of like the Pantene Pro-V commercials with the pixar looking hair. Lol! Well to address that. Here's the 1st look.

I also did a rainbow look with it using some different products with these. It came out great. Not an every day look but definitely fierce!

This color is called "Fierce & Tangy."
Pretty color but is not as shiny as the rest and not much
like the commercial. |

| The rainbow look. |
So all in all. Pigmentation is great! No it doesn't crease. Even though it's a cream shadow it's a little pasty but very light at the same time. It's very comfortable. I only had it on for a little bit but from other reviews I've heard it is very long lasting. Make sure you have a good eye makeup remover though. See below for the products used in these pics.

| Started with Mary Kay's Eye Primer. Then used Wet 'n' Wild color icon pink in the inner lid. Next I used color tattoo "Fierce & Tangy" in the center and layered color tattoo "Bold Gold" on top of it. After that I used color tattoo "Tenacious Teal" for my outer corner. Applied the same colors as a thick liner for my lower lash line. I used Mary Kay's Bronze shadow from the island palette for the crease. Then I used Wet 'n' Wild color icon white for a highlighter under my brow. Then lined with a liquid liner and added a cat eye for more DRAMA. Topped it off with Maybelline's Falsies Mascara (which to be honest is not my fav but I had some on hand so I used it. I love the Maybelline Colossal Mascara though). |

These are the colors I bought in order from left to right: Tenacious Teal, Edgy Emerald, Bold Gold, Fierce & Tangy, & Painted Purple.
The one's that Are left are: Too Cool (White), Bad to the Bronze, Tough as Taupe, Audacious Asphalt, & Pomegranate Punk.
Please comment & let me know what you think of them. |
