Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Yesterday, October 23rd, 2010, I was at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Downtown Tampa, FL. It was my first walk and one of the most fulfilling mornings I've ever had.

I walked with a team called The Difference Makers and we had the most amazing time. Among are team we were blessed to have Dusty Showers, an awesome advocate for breast cancer who's had the opportunity to speak out against the disease at several different places including The Oprah Winfrey Show. It was awesome getting to talk with him.

The day was very emotional, exciting, fun, and filled with an array of different feelings that can be summed up in one word. AWESOME! The walk raised $304,911.74. Such a great accomplishment and I'm sure that will do some amazing things for the cause.

Here's a video that sums up the experience. Enjoy!

Who is a coach & what do they do?

After losing about 25 lbs in 90 days doing a home fitness program from Beachbody called ChaLEAN Extreme I decided to become a coach to motivate others to reach their goals. I'm now down a total of 40 lbs and counting. I'm the happiest I've ever been and I'm now making money helping other people.

You can do this too. If you're one of those people who has decided not to settle, then this opportunity may be for you. It's amazing what a little motivation and accountability will do. I'm building a business for next to nothing.

Beachbody is waiving the start up fee. No strings attached. It's FREE to join my team. The month after you sign up there is a $14.95 monthly fee for your two websites. Literally THAT IS ALL! You can't get any website for that price by the way.

Turns out losing weight, becoming financially free, getting healthy, and in shape and running a business is a ton of fun!

If you're ready contact me at the information above.

Make Yourself Better

There comes a time in everyone's life where they get stuck in a rut. It seems as if nothing is moving forward. Sometimes we feel like progress has stopped. This is known as a platue. How you get past that is to push harder and change it up (I'm not speaking in terms of fitness alone).

If you find yourself in that place, Stop, Breathe, and Re-evaluate. In your evaluation assess your goals.

What are you working for?

What do you want to accomplish over the next day, week, month, year, 5 years, 10 years, retirement?

What is it going to take to get you there?

Now create a plan to achieve these goals. You're going to stick to it no matter what.

Commit to doing this everyday. Don't forget to write it down!

Next tell someone about it. This will make you accountable to doing it. As a matter of fact. Get them on board with you.

This is all part of a plan to make you a better you and achieve your dreams. Stay motivated. Drop the negativity. And if you need a little encouragement. You know where to find it (wink ;)
